Amy took her passion for creative writing to Ohio’s Kent State University where she received a BA in Telecommunications, with a Field of Concentration in Rhetoric and Communication, and began working in the television industry even before graduation.

Nearly 30 years later, she has worked in advertising, promotion and marketing positions at top TV stations across Ohio, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. Her writing and producing excellence have contributed to increased ratings in newscasts, and across all broadcast time-periods. Before joining Ivy Creative, she ran a successful freelance business helping a diverse group of clients achieve enhanced awareness for their programs, products, and brands.

Amy is the recipient of numerous industry honors; including multiple regional Emmys, and awards from The New York Film Festival, Telly, INTV, BPME, Promax, and BDA organizations.

She lives in Southborough, MA with her husband, two teenage sons, and feisty Cairn Terrier.
